Having completed a degree in chemistry, the designer, Céline Prost, reoriented her career towards fashion in order to fulfill a childhood dream. She studied fashion at Esmod Paris and at l’Ecole de la chamber syndicale de la couture parisienne.
In September 2009, Je suis en CP came to light: playful and delicate fashions for children ages 0-6.
Creativite and innovation Je suis en CP offers simple yet well-cut shapes, fun graphic details drawn from the imaginary. Genuine research in a combination of materials and a mix of prints brings out the best in each fabric. The innovative materials used, such as Japanese quilted cotton, are always of natural origin.
Je suis en CP's materials are selected for their softness and high quality, printed cotton from Liberty of London, thick mother of pearl buttons, Swiss cotton, extra-fine Italian Merino wool… Internal finishings are meticulously sewn to ensure aesthetics and durability, as well as resistance to frequent washing.
Je suis en CP clothes are designed by a mother who knows about the practical side of children’s wear. Each piece is made to be easy to put on a baby or toddler, and to make dressing easy : snaps between the legs, buttons in the back, elastic waistbands that can be altered…
