Having completed a degree in chemistry, the designer, Céline Prost, reoriented her career towards fashion in order to fulfill a childhood dream. She studied fashion at Esmod Paris and at l’Ecole de la chamber syndicale de la couture parisienne.

In September 2009, Je suis en CP came to light: playful and delicate fashions for children ages 0-6.

Creativite and innovation Je suis en CP offers simple yet well-cut shapes, fun graphic details drawn from the imaginary. Genuine research in a combination of materials and a mix of prints brings out the best in each fabric. The innovative materials used, such as Japanese quilted cotton, are always of natural origin.




Je suis en CP's materials are selected for their softness and high quality, printed cotton from Liberty of London, thick mother of pearl buttons, Swiss cotton, extra-fine Italian Merino wool… Internal finishings are meticulously sewn to ensure aesthetics and durability, as well as resistance to frequent washing.




Je suis en CP clothes are designed by a mother who knows about the practical side of children’s wear. Each piece is made to be easy to put on a baby or toddler, and to make dressing easy : snaps between the legs, buttons in the back, elastic waistbands that can be altered…

Kids Company Fall/Winter 2011-12 Collection at Pitti Bimbo

Stars of the Kids Company Autumn-Winter 2011-12 collection - the “one-time school” children.
Bon-ton style, clean lines with a personal mix and an eye for details: boiled wool for outwear, jackets such as the "grandfather" jacket with leather patches and buttons, knitwear in Merino wool and cashmere playing with contrasting motifs and edges.

For the boy, dressed in plain shirts in dandy fabrics, even coming back to shorts and wool fantasy trousers: from small checks to tartan. The girls often dress with spirited "Liberty" flowers, printed on flannels and muslins, and sometimes they become princesses with crinky dresses and opaline buttons.





A palette of colors ranging from reassuring traditional tones to the most sought and trendy shades: acid green, burgundy and mauve. Original details embellish the garments of little girls with small embroideries and hand knitting. At this point, vintage accessories come together and enrich the forms simply. For very small, soft natural fabrics in soft colors such as melange sky blue, cream, pale pink and sandy, combined with precious cashmere mesh.

Suzanne Ermann Fall/Winter 2011-12 Girls Collection

French designer Suzanne Ermann, already world famous for her collections of wedding and evening
dresses, launched her revolutionary “Children” line in 2010.

“Children”, by Suzanne Ermann, is meant for girls from 2 to 14 who enjoy dressing and having fun. Her 2011-2012 Autumn-Winter collection is chic and playful with Day and Evening creations.

Suzanne Ermann revisits sportswear garments with her Couture touch. Quality fabrics are mixed sophistically.



Dresses, skirts, tops and blousons are made in quilted material and polar wool. Other dresses, suits, and sweats are in jersey adorned with fringes. Fake sheep-fur wool warms up coats and jackets.

Suzanne Ermann has imagined a host of dresses to celebrate: she structures shapes in duchesse satin, underlined with ruches stitched with multicoloured marbles, or with Lamé details (candys, piping...).

Fluid shapes are draped in velvet jerseys or adorned with twirls in flocked tulle and snowflakes that come to life at the slightest move.

I Pinco Pallino Fall/Winter 2011-12 Collection

The new I Pinco Pallino fairy tale starts with a cascade of white ribbons on a winter's night. Using ribbons and bows, as if they were floating in a magic passageway, a new enchanted panorama is unveiled. The new collection takes us into a dreamlike and romantic dimension, where anything can happen. In between excursions of the imagination, exercises in the extraordinary and unexpected surprises begins the tale of a season of dreams.

Nature
The colors of alpaca, grays, camel, hazelnut form an extremely natural landscape of the palette. Vests in rabbit fur rest on pullovers with Norwegian cable knits. Trousers in velvet and moleskin, with wrap-around pinafore coats in soft mouffelon for a winter as fluffy as a scene seen through the window of a warm room.

Rosa rosae rosae.
They're roses... and they will bloom. In an enchanted winter garden roses of all colors are blooming: fuchsia, corral, shocking pink, baby and candy. Small bouquets in cloth and velvet unfold petals on the collars of coats while large grain ribbons and velvet trim with grace skirts and suits.




Sentimental
Embroideries, embroideries, embroideries. By hand, in wool, in petit point and cross-stitch, happy floral designs, arabesques and hemstitches come to life. The needle tirelessly creates on tulle, chiffon and wool muslin, it designs a theme of romantic evasion on little suits, richly decorated pinafores and skirts, it traces doodles on light pullovers like liseuses and on coats.

Ivory
The white of snow, chalk and sugar, the ivory of creams, butter and whipped cream are spread out with voracious elegance on brocades and devoré velvet and macrame. Clean lines are enriched with precious details. Pearl collars and jewel buttons like sweets stolen from the kitchen.




Traditional
A touch of noblesse. Blues and grays are illuminated in elaborate heraldic shields embroidered in gold thread, on pullovers and blazers for little women ready for college. Plaited skirts and pants. A return to Eton: cabana-coats and montgomeries crown a thematic proposal with accents that are aristocratically sportive.

Baby
It is a tender winter's dream that accompanies the little ones of I Pinco Pallino. Precious materials, like the substance of the softest dreams; cashmere, mix cashmere and tulle on which gauzed embroideries come to life. Pink and ivories are the tenuous tones of the morning that await the toddlers when they awake.




1950
Afternoon on the beaches of Deauville. Stripes are the protagonists, in knitwear, in wool and in felt, in the tones of blue and gray, like the reflections on the waves of a winter sea. Small coats with a sailor's collar, trousers with golden buttons and pullovers with noble friezes for a lively walk out in the breeze.

Couture
A carousel of colors for this haute collection. Brilliant ceremonies and great
expectations for the party of the little princess at the Sun King's court. Fuchsia and turquoise illuminate frock coats, balloon skirts in brocade with pink relief, embroidered Shetland and pullovers in tie and dye cashmere. Vanilla and gold on velvet suits, tafettas and chiffon pave the way that leads to the
ballroom.

Absolute blue
An invitation to the court is also given to the Catalan artist Mariano Fortuny, who transforms wrinkled and froissé velvets into small Liberty masterpieces of an absolute blue, with rich embroiderings in paillettes and fossilized wood.

Fall/Winter 2011 Harmont & Blaine Junior Collection at Pitti Bimbo

The Harmont and Blaine Junior collection for next Autumn/Winter 2011 includes four hundred items, six lines (Layette, Mini, Junior), including Boy and Girl, six stylistic themes.

The Junior-Boy collection (2-16 years old) includes three lines: Fatherland Heritage - where we find the range of blue, red, milk-white, grey melange, sprinkled with brown and hunter green. Blue Reflection - blues and greys, broken up by strong intervention of fuchsia, are at their best. Have Fun - where colors such as yellow, brilliant green, fuchsia, electric blue, milk-white and orange create a colour explosion with their brightness, mixed in eccentric, but refined combinations.





In the Junior-Girl collection, Blaine's Girl chooses to make use of a palette that puts the gradations of grey together with intense colors such as hot pink, black, charcoal and white for a slightly country and mountain atmosphere.  Layer by layer, a refined look synchronizes different colours and materials overlapping the country checked shirt, decorated with rouches, the grey plush jacket and the beige fluffy gilet.

The Mini line (ages 6-36 months) focuses on the big little needs of the smallest basset's friends. In this sense, details make the difference: pulls are carefully studied, with small bottons, full-zipper sweatshirts, creepers, finely embroidered sweats, warm and soft stretch trousers.

JAGUAR PRINT - The new jaguar print, already the iconic symbol of the maison, has been for the first time adopted also for little girls collections, evoking wild atmospheres all without never overlooking elegance.

GOLD WAY - Floral patterns and golden devoré velvet now feature flared dresses, full skirts as well as bright denim and t-shirts with serigraphic prints recalling the typical iconography from the eighteenth century.

CROCO MOOD - The patchwork crocodile print is in the spotlight of a series of delicate creations, where the dusty tones of wisteria and pearl grey prevail.

BEAUTIFUL PEONY - The brand new peony print embraces all the shades of pink, as a variation of blouses and on the bubble dress, but also on more basic items like dresses and t-shirts made of melange grey jersey.




Roberto Cavalli’s capsule collection is proposed also for the cold season, dedicated to teenagers from 6 to 14. The jaguar print has been renewed in the fall/winter 2011-2012 collection: it is tinged with red, grey and black contrasts. Ermanno Scervino Junior Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Children's Collection at Pitti Bimbo

Ermanno Scervino Junior translates the world of the Maison into kids’ language with a collection that next winter proposes unusual plays of prints, materials and volumes with strong accents of color and light, for a mood on the keynote of a tender and up-to-the-minute
femininity.

Inspired by mum’s wardrobe the – strictly fake – fur reshapes the silhouette and the volumes of the down jackets for special garments in crumpled nylon with shaded quilting. The coats, in knit or in male-type cloth of military inspiration, are embellished by fringes of boiled wool that create floral motifs. The sheepskin – used for jackets and vests – is glamorous and metropolitan with raw-edge details and woollen embroideries, hallmark features of the brand.






Knitwear plays a lead role sweeping onstage in the form of coats, long pullovers, crossover tops and an array of mini-dresses flaunting unusual colorways, such as the multicolored jacquards in the knitwear of Fair Isle inspiration, the vintage prints of a retro flavor in the camel proposals, the touches of yellow ocher that warm the gray melange with appliqués in 3D metal. Trimmings of sequins and mohair spatter with points of light the proposals of a new winter seascape, while discreet rhinestone and boss elements on floral designs laser-treated by the effects of two-tone contrast interpret jumpers and dresses made of knit-backed felt.






The harmonious blend of contrasting elements is clear in the plays of layering between different prints and the unusual combination of materials. So the speckled prints of the light silk chiffons meld with the floral micro-prints and the crepes with tiny flock designs generating new optical effects in an encounter of shades such as military green, pink and cement. Silk velvet merges into felted knit creating self-shade dots in romantic dresses garlanded with fringes, ruffles and pleats. Camel shade knit is embellished by inserts of blue Oxford cloth snitched from male shirting. Denim is rendered feminine by inserts of wool lace, sometimes more “rock” with appliqués of rhinestones and bosses for a silhouette of skinny pants, biker jackets, miniskirts and shorts. A touch of the 70s in the flared, high-waisted pants.
